Just a few things to help get your VDI to perform a little better.

Add the View Group policy Templates into your Group Policy and change the policies listed below.

  • Configured the PCoIP Client image cache size policy from 250MB to 50MB
  • Configured the PC0IP image quality levels – enabled
    • Set minimum image quality value – 50
    • Set the maximum initial image quality value – 70
    • Set the maximum frame rate value – 15
  • Configured the PCoIP session audio bandwidth limit – enabled
    • Set audio BW limit – 100
  • Turn off Build-to-lossless feature – enabled

Pool Settings were set to support only 1 monitor

  • Changed this to support 4

Changed MKSHEADLESSRATES

  1. Power off the virtual machine using the vSphere Client.
  2. Right-click the virtual machine and click Edit Settings.
  3. Select the Options tab and under Advanced.
  4. Click General.
  5. Click Configuration Parameters and click Add Row
  6. In the Name field enter mks.poll.headlessRates and in the Value field enter 1000 100 2.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Power on the virtual machine.
